Timber markets were mixed in 3Q 2026. Warm weather and below-average precipitation allowed for greater accessibility, but supply was adversely affected by transportation challenges and high diesel prices.

Wood products markets were mixed this quarter, as well, with Southern pine lumber prices declining 7% but Southern OSB prices increasing 10%. Pulp markets took a step backwards, with softwood and hardwood pulp prices decreasing 2% and 5%, respectively, this quarter.
